I wrote this article on spec. The target publication was Good Old Boat, and the article will appear in their July 2013 issue. I'd like to think that the primary attraction was my use of a novel material, patina copper, to replace the worn Formica on the table top. I don't know. Maybe the editor liked the bar-top epoxy thing.
